History
Miller Motorsport was formed in 2018 as a family team competing in the BRSCC Mazda Super Series and SuperCup, running our little black Mazda and building up our knowledge and experience of these fantastic little cars.
We were joined in 2021 by the Langridges, who brought along significant driving and data analysis skills to the team, having picked up multiple championships in previous years. Alex and John had driven together in a few endurance races previously, having first made contact over Instagram of all things.
With three generations of Millers and Langridges preparing the cars and studying the data, we honed our skills and went toe to toe with the more established teams at the front of the grid.
Alex and John have competed in a wide range of series and championships, picking up silverware along the way in MSV Trackday Trophy, Trackday Championship and Miata Trophy, BRSCC Mazda SuperCup and ClubSport Trophy, plus the 750MC Club Enduro Championship.
The Team
Alex Miller – Team Principal and Driver (#7)
Alex busies himself with managing the Team’s activities on and off the track as well as doing a turn behind the wheel in the MSV Miata Trophy. An Engineering obsessive of 25 years at heart, Alex likes to spend his time improving the mechanical performance of team cars by building engines, gearboxes, differentials and just about anything else that has moving parts!

John Langridge – Driver Coach and Driver (#1)
John is very much the Team driving guru. A multiple Champion in both FWD and RWD machinery, John is an experienced and successful driver. Starting with the 2011 Ford Fiesta Championship, John then claimed the highly competitive BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship in 2019, the 750MC Club Enduro Class C championship in 2021 (with Alex), and in 2024 clinched the coveted MSV Miata Trophy.
Ray Miller – Race Engineer
One of the elder statesman of the team, Ray has been involved in motorsports since Ben Hur was a boy. From his days competing in British Superkarts in the early 80’s Ray has been immersed in racing, and these days can be found holding the car data book close to his chest.

Terry Buss – Race Engineer
The engine room of the team, Terry provides the knowledge and sheer power required to keep everything running as it should over the course of a weekend. If something needs doing quick (or tightening up to the point of never coming off again), all eyes turn to Terry!
As well as his legendary mechanic skills, Terry is a skilled driver himself (competing in off road trials in his monster Land Rover) and is also an experienced scrutineer.
Charlotte Miller – Team Manager
The keeper of the clock, Charlotte spends her time (when she’s not hitting the ski slopes in New Zealand) making sure we are in the right places at the right times. With everything that goes on at the track, Charlotte keeps us all pointing in the right direction!

Ian Langridge – Support
Ian is the go to man for pretty much everything service related, whether that be on the cars or the humans. From checking the tyres, fuel, wheel nuts or anything else on the car, to brewing up and fetching the cakes for the rest of us, Ian is the man for it!
Luke, Michael and Jordi
The Minions of the Team, the three lads spend their weekends running around the cars keeping them ready to race. Be it tyre pressure, fuel, suspension settings or polishing up the paintwork, these are your guys. Unfortunately Jordi is camera shy so no picture for now, but we are working on it!

Honours
Miller Motorsport have had a few successes over the years in a few different championships. Our proudest moment was probably taking the Class C title in the 750mc Club Enduro Championship, where we took our sprint spec Mazda and competed in 2hr multi-class races. After a couple of races to find our feet, we won the next three on the bounce and took the Class C title with a race to spare, even running the TCR cars at the front close to the overall title.
Turning to the new Miata Trophy in 2023, we have competed at the front for the last two seasons, culminating with John taking the Championship and Alex backing up in 3rd.
We look forward to a battle to retain the title in 2025!
